Delivery tags

How to create tags, add them to deliveries, filter by them and choose who else sees them.

Updated

On this page

Tags mark deliveries the way your team needs, for example “Urgent”, “Fragile”, “VIP” or “To check”. Each tag has a name and a color, and it shows as a colored chip next to the delivery in the deliveries list, on the delivery page, in route planning and in reports. A delivery can have several tags.

Create a tag

  1. Go to Settings => General => Advanced and scroll to the Tags card.
  2. Click New tag.
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Name: up to 20 characters, letters, digits and spaces only. Each tag needs its own name.
    • Color: purple, blue, green, orange, red or gray. The tag uses this color on every screen.
    • Show to company: company users will see the tag on their deliveries list and delivery page.
    • Show to driver: drivers will see the tag in the driver app.
  4. Click Save.

The Tags card lists all your tags, each with the number of open deliveries that have it. Click the number to open the list of those deliveries.

Only users with access to settings see the Tags card.

Edit or delete a tag

  • To change a tag’s name, color or who sees it, click the pencil icon next to it. The change applies right away to every delivery that has the tag.
  • To delete a tag, click the trash icon. The tag is removed from every delivery that has it, and this cannot be undone.

Add tags to a delivery

You can tag a delivery in a few places:

  • When you create a delivery: the new delivery form has a Tags field. Choose one or more tags.
  • On the delivery page: switch to edit mode, and in the Tags row add or remove the delivery’s tags.
  • In the delivery edit window: the full edit window has a Tags field too.

Every tag added or removed is saved in the delivery’s history, with the date and the user who made the change.

Add or remove tags on several deliveries

  1. In the deliveries list, select the deliveries.
  2. Click Tags in the actions bar above the table and choose Add tags or Remove tags.
  3. Choose the tags and click Add or Remove.

Adding keeps the tags the deliveries already have and adds the ones you chose. Removing takes off only the tags you chose and leaves the rest. You can update up to 1,000 deliveries at a time.

Filter deliveries by tags

The deliveries list has a Tags column. Click a tag in the table to show only the deliveries that have it.

For a more precise filter, add a Tags filter, choose one or more tags and how to match them:

  • Has any: deliveries with at least one of the tags you chose.
  • Has all: deliveries with every tag you chose.
  • Has none: deliveries without any of the tags you chose.

To find deliveries with no tags at all, choose No tags in the filter.

Where else tags show

  • Route planning: a Tags column in the route’s deliveries and in the unassigned deliveries, and in the driver’s daily plan.
  • Reports: a Tags column in the reports that show one row per delivery, such as the deliveries, cash on delivery, failed deliveries, lates and reviews reports, and in their Excel files.
  • Company portal: companies see only the tags you marked Show to company, and can’t change them.
  • Driver app: drivers see only the tags you marked Show to driver.
